Plenty of tools let you ask your data a question. Our promise is the second half of the sentence. Here are the rules the product enforces to earn it, and the limits we tell you about up front.
Our homepage says "Ask Your Data Anything. Trust Every Answer." The first half is easy to deliver now. Plenty of tools let you ask a question in plain English and get a fluent paragraph back. The second half is the hard part, and it is the reason Askalytics exists. Here is what we mean by it, in practice, and where its limits are.
A language model is very good at producing text that sounds like an answer. It has no built-in sense of whether a number it just wrote is one it read or one it made up. Both come out in the same confident tone. If the only thing standing between that paragraph and your budget meeting is how plausible it sounds, you are not using analytics. You are guessing with extra steps.
So we set rules for every answer Askalytics produces. Not aspirations. Rules the product enforces.
Every answer is produced by running real queries against a private copy of your own Google Analytics, Search Console and Google Ads data, refreshed every night. The model does not get to answer from general knowledge about "typical" websites. If the data to answer a question is not there, the honest response is to say so, and that is what it is built to do.
After an answer is written, every specific figure in it is checked against the data that was read to produce it. A figure is either traced back to your data, marked as a calculation from traced figures, or flagged as unsupported. The result is shown on the answer: a quiet line saying every figure was checked when everything reconciles, and a clear flag naming the problem when it does not.
Notice what we do not do. We do not hide the answer from you, and we do not quietly remove a figure we could not trace. A few mechanical slips, such as a percentage worked out wrong or a search ranking described backwards, are corrected from your real numbers. Anything the check cannot confirm stays in the answer and is labeled. Checked and labeled, not censored.
Each number in an AI Insight links to the query that produced it. Share an insight with a colleague and the link shows those queries, with their arguments and how many rows they returned. "Where did this number come from?" should never need a follow-up email.
"Last month" can mean the calendar month, the last 30 days, or the last four complete weeks, and the three can disagree by a lot. Every answer says exactly which dates it measured, so two people reading it are talking about the same thing.
Every AI Insight ships with its figure check, its receipts and a second AI's verdict attached.
Every AI Insight, including the weekly one, is reviewed by a second AI from a different provider before you see it. Since October 2026, so is every Ask AI answer that uses a credit. It reads the work and the same data it was built from, judges whether the conclusion follows from that data, and gives a verdict. When the two agree, that is worth something. When they disagree, you see the disagreement, with the second AI's reasoning attached. We never average two views into one muddy answer. We call this the Confidence Check. It costs nothing extra.
Most AI analytics tools hand you an answer without showing you how it was checked. That gap is the reason we built this.
A perfectly accurate answer built on broken tracking is still wrong. So Askalytics also watches the plumbing. Data Health shows you what your "conversions" number is actually made of, because it is the sum of every event your site flags as a key event, and that mix is different on every site. AI Sentinel checks every night for breaks like conversions dropping to zero while ad spend continues.
A trust claim that hides its own limits is not a trust claim. So here are ours.
"Trust Every Answer" does not mean "never question the machine." It means the opposite. Every answer arrives with what you need to question it: its sources, its date window, its figure check, its receipts, and, for insights and answers that use a credit, a second opinion. The answer earns your trust each time, or it tells you where it fell short.
Askalytics is open to everyone. In the meantime you can read how the checks work on our trust and accuracy page, or see a verified AI Insight in full.
Not every one, and we keep the claims separate on purpose. AI Insights are reviewed by a second AI from a different provider, and since October 2026 so is every Ask AI answer that uses a credit. Free quick lookups use no AI at all. AI Sentinel alerts get code checks only. If the second AI does not finish, the answer says so and is never shown as verified.
The answer is shown to you with a clear flag naming the figure that could not be traced back to your data. Nothing is hidden, and an untraced figure is never quietly removed. You see the answer and what the check found.
Yes. Each figure in an AI Insight links to the query that produced it, and a shared insight link shows those queries with their arguments and row counts.
Yes, which is why there is more than one and they are independent. The figure check is not an AI, the second opinion is a different AI from a different provider, and the receipts let you open the query yourself. A check can confirm a number came from your data; it cannot fix broken tracking, which is what Data Health and AI Sentinel look for.
Answers from your own data, every figure checked, a receipt for every number, and a second opinion on every insight. Free for 14 days, no card needed.
