vs Luca AI

Luca Answers. Askalytics Verifies the Insight.

Luca AI is a capable multi-source analytics assistant. It connects 20+ tools and answers in plain English. Askalytics also answers across your sources in plain English, then does the one thing Luca doesn't: it verifies every insight with a second AI on a different provider. And it's priced for a small business, not a sales call.

Where Luca Is Genuinely Strong

Credit where it's due. Luca connects a wide range of sources, 20+ in all, including commerce and finance tools like Shopify, Stripe, and Xero alongside Google Ads, Meta, and Klaviyo. It answers questions conversationally, surfaces proactive insights, and flags anomalies. It's a real product built by a real team, and for a data-rich operator who lives in one app, it's a strong option. If your only requirement is "let me ask my data anything," Luca will serve you well. The comparison below is about the things beyond that requirement.

The Takeaway in Three Bullets

We Verify, Luca Doesn't

Both tools answer questions in natural language. Only Askalytics runs every insight through a Confidence Check: a second AI on a different provider that reviews the insight to judge whether it holds. Luca answers; it doesn't tell you whether the answer is right.

Multi-Source, With Commerce Coming Soon

Like Luca, Askalytics joins marketing, search, and revenue data in one place: GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity today, plus HubSpot and Mailchimp in beta, with Shopify Coming Soon. The difference isn't whether you can ask across sources. It's whether you can trust what comes back.

A Price You Can See

Luca's pricing isn't published; it's a demo-and-quote motion. Askalytics is built for small businesses, with self-serve tiers from $19 to $149 a month that you sign up for in minutes. No sales call required to find out what it costs. See pricing.

How We're Different

Three places the two products diverge.

1. The insight comes with a second opinion.

This is the whole game. Any modern assistant, Luca included, can write a fluent answer to "why did revenue drop last week?" The hard part isn't generating an answer; it's knowing whether to act on it. Askalytics runs a Confidence Check: a second AI, on a different provider, independently reviews every insight and gives its verdict before the insight is finalized. When two models on two providers reach the same conclusion, that's a different level of confidence than one model talking confidently on its own. We have not found a single competitor, Luca included, that verifies insights this way.

2. Every number traces to the query that produced it.

Askalytics is built so the AI never has to guess a figure, and flags any figure it cannot trace. The AI reasons over your nightly-refreshed warehouse and runs the queries it needs, so every number it reports is generated by a query against your own data and traces back to that exact query (the Advanced Breakdown). A code check traces every number in the prose to a real query result and flags any it cannot match. That architecture is why we can put a verification layer on top in the first place: there's a ground truth to check against.

3. Priced and packaged for a small business.

Luca is a sales-led product with pricing you get on a call. Askalytics is built for the founder, the marketing lead, the small team, with self-serve tiers (from $19 to $149 a month) you can sign up for in minutes and see the cost of up front. If you have a finance stack worth wiring into 20+ connectors and a budget for a sales process, Luca's breadth may suit you. If you want trustworthy answers across your marketing and revenue data at a small-business price, that's the gap we built for. See how we compare to Lebesgue and Avangard AI too.

Common Questions

Doesn't Luca already answer questions across my data?

Yes, and so does Askalytics. Natural-language questions across multiple sources are table stakes now; both tools do it. The distinction we draw is what happens after the answer is generated. Askalytics verifies every insight with a second AI on a different provider before you trust it. Luca doesn't publish a verification step like that.

Luca connects more sources than you. Why fewer?

True. Luca lists 20+ connectors, including Stripe and Xero, which we don't have. We've focused on the marketing-and-revenue stack most small businesses actually run on (GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, and Microsoft Clarity, plus HubSpot and Mailchimp in beta, with Shopify Coming Soon) and put our engineering into the trust layer on top. If wide finance-system coverage is your priority, Luca has the edge there. If verified answers across your core marketing data is the priority, that's us.

What does the Confidence Check actually do?

After the primary AI produces an insight, a second model on a different provider independently reviews the conclusion against the same underlying findings and gives its verdict. Agreement across two models on two providers is a far stronger signal than one model's confidence alone. It's the single thing we've found no competitor in this category offering.

How much does Askalytics cost compared to Luca?

Luca's pricing isn't published; you request a demo and get a quote. Askalytics is self-serve with public tiers built for small businesses: $19 (Scout) to $149 (Scale) per month. Start with a 14-day free trial, no card needed. You sign up and see the cost without a sales conversation. See full pricing.

Is Askalytics a smaller operation than Luca?

Leaner by design, and that's the point. A lean cost structure is exactly why we can be profitable serving small businesses at a small-business price, rather than needing to chase larger contracts to cover a bigger payroll. The depth, meaning verified insights, every number traced back to the query that produced it, and an evidence pack on every insight, is in the product, not the org chart.
